A podcast editor for Arabic and bilingual shows: edit the audio by editing the transcript — even with Arabic and English in the same sentence.
A studio concept — not client work, and no results claimed.
Overview
Sada transcribes a recording, then lets you cut, move and tidy the audio by editing the text. Delete a sentence and its audio goes with it.
Problem
Transcript editors are built for English. Arabic speakers switch dialects and drop English terms mid-sentence; the text jumps direction, selection breaks, and the timeline runs the opposite way to the words.
Our decisions
We treated direction as a design problem, not a setting: selection that follows the reader's eye across both scripts, a timeline that runs right to left with the transcript, speaker colors that hold in both directions, and filler-word cleanup tuned to Arabic rather than translated from English.

What it shows
- How bidirectional text should behave when you're editing it, not just reading it.
- A dense desktop tool built for long editing sessions.
